Where We Started
One of the city’s longest-standing buffet-style restaurants, China Cup Buffet has been feeding hungry customers for 18 years at it’s downtown Prince George location at Parkwood Place Mall. The restaurant was known as Mama Panda’s until 2002 and then changed to the China Cup under new ownership. Four years ago the restaurant changed owners again and is now operated by a management group or partnership. Cheung is part of the ownership/management group that bought China Cup nearly four years ago and he’s also one of the chefs.
Our new location is almost ready and we will be announcing an opening date soon. It has been a long couple of months but we are almost there. New atmostphere, new location but still the best place to sample authentic Chinese dishes and classic Canadian fare in Prince George!
